JIMMY’Z is a success story with roots planted in southern California’s Malibu Beach, that began in 1984 when an acknowledged sculptor and painter/surfer by the name of Jim Ganzer created an idea to build clothing for the beach and surf. He called his invention JIMMY’Z, an all cotton short with an adjustable web belt waistband with an overlapping Velcro closure to allow up to three inches of adjust ability through an expanding side pocket.The “Z” stood for “E-Z-IN, E-Z-OUT.”
Jimmy’z has been written up in both domestic and international trade and consumer magazines for over 10 years. Its ads have featured Garry Bussey, Cindy Crawford. Ry Cooder and classic guitar artist Stevie Ray Vaughan.
